About This Website

This website is designed to serve a specific need: Helping Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) students identify and research potential employers offering job and student internship opportunities.

Unlike other engineers, CEEs are not mainly employed by private industry. Instead, they are most often employed by Engineering Consulting Firms (firms which act like law or accounting firms, offering their professional services to clients) and Government (at all three levels - federal, state and local).

Especially in the case of Engineering Consulting Firms (which are plentiful in number, but typically relatively small in size), CEE students are often not aware of all the opportunities available to them. This website seeks to bridge that gap by acting as a convenient one-stop source of relevant information to students.

We directly reach out to CEE students through their schools to make them aware of this highly valuable resource.
